Sweet looking car but that's a lot of yellow..
|
Beautiful car inside & out Dan!!!! Hawtness!!!!
|
you should consider calling that car the "Uber-banana" instead of the "Tigershark" if you get it. :D
|
I like the seats. I might have to paint the dash panels black to tone down the interior.
I was looking at bee-like creatures for names. There is yellow jacket, wasp, and hornet. Banana is out. :D My mind spins when I contimplate the numbers: under 3000lbs with driver, 313rwhp, 355rwtq, and 50/50 weight distrabution. We exchanged pm's, and he told me he looked into it and a new 930 Turbo clutch ($1500 +/-) and new Turbo (under $2k) and it'll be around 420hp and 470lb/ft AT THE REAR WHEELS. I'll stay at 313/355 for now, thank you. |
That's freakin' nuts Dan! Car sounds like a real bahn-stormer!!!!
|
The 60-100 numbers for this car must be insane. From what I remember, the 951 is geared more towards top end.

I can't imagine what that amount of power feels like. Stock is fast enough for me now. Have you driven one yet? |
The guy who lent me the 928 S has a 1986 951, but I haven't driven it yet. He has 3 cars ahead of it on my ride list: A Testarossa, a Mondial Spider, and a Esprit Turbo.

You might want to test drive a few 951's before your final decision. When I was looking I found quite an array of driving impressions from car to car. When I finally found a good one, I could definitely tell the difference. |
He owns a car lot. Alot of very nice cars. 8 Porsches, 3 Ferraris, 2 Lotus, bunches of BMW/Audi/Mercedes. This yellow one looks very sweet. I like the color.
