Trim Question?
Does anyone know of a good product to restore the finish on the fake wood trim in the SVX? I don't want to use something that will hurt the finish, so I figured I would ask. Thanks, Dave.

I did a trick in my car that saves me the pain of restoring the fake wood, first of all it is not attractive at all and second it undervalues the car. so i took out all the wood finish, and repainted them the same color as the exterior (silver), MAN ! that's another cockpit !!!

I'm considering painting those trim pieces, too. It just looks too cheap.
And anything is better than stick-on carbon fiber. I'm not sure there's any early-90s interior that really looks "right" with CF. The SVX has more of a classic exotic feel inside, I think. Needs something simple and understated. As for the restoration: Armorall and the like tend to make things super-slippery. Pledge furniture polish might work better. |

Do you have any pictures of the inside of the car? :) |
