Hints on what to look for?
 

When making a left turn over rough ground... I'm hearing a loud clack from my left rear wheel area. (please don't say broken strut even if it is) When I bounce up and down on the rear bumper it stops bouncing immediately, not like a bad rear strut... I think I will know if I see anything broken up there I just want to know if anyone has had this happen .:eek:

Check for a rusted and broken strut mount. :(

Lightly step on the brakes while diagnosing this problem. If sound disappears, then its your pads rattling. If not, I go with Beav.

I guess I said broken strut... (mount is different)

WORSE!!! I'll have some time to look this weekend...:( :(

Is the left side of the car lower than the right?
Is the back of the car sitting a little low?
The rear st*** mou*** usually rust out in p**rs.

Earl, I just got back from a dream ride down to Lake Powell. Good gas milage (about 30 or so) Only police car I saw was a Green river cop at a burger king... and an average speed home on sunday night of 90 mph!!

It's just in my head (clunk) And I just won't turn left anymore...;)
