Putting a powered LSI seat in a L model.

Will a powered 1992 SVX LSi drivers side seat fit into a 1995 SVX L model? Is there a place to plug the seat in and use the power 8 way adjustable controls?

Not sure what an SLV is but I imagine you'd need to install the power relay that comes with SVX power seats into the 95.
It's all a matter of wiring.

It wouldn't hurt to obtain the mounting bracket as well.

Spelling error. Sorry about that.

I'm sure the wiring harness is the same in 1995 for the LSi and the L. just a metter of a relay and a couple of other pieces.

Her seats are PERFECT! if I was going to install a power seat from the 92 SVX, I would find a used one in workng condition and crappy leather and use the cloth cover from her seat to recover it.

That way, the passenger seat and the rear seats all match.

Thank you for the information. The car has been sold so I will not be getting a svx any time soon. I would have bought a power leather seat off ebay for about $150 and then covered all four seats with a do it your self leather kit from motorsport warehouse. Only $700. I saw the pictures of her seats but I just do not think the cloth seats go with the great styling of the svx. They look kind of cheapy. No offence to those that have cloth seats.

I put leather seats in my 95 L. All SVX's have the power seat plug. On base models like mine, the plug is attached to a "dummy" plug on the seat frame. In other words, it's there...but it's not doing anything. All you have to do is plug it into a power seat and you're ready to go. Nothing else is needed. No extra wiring, no relays.

i am going to attempt this once i figure out how to swap the motor and mount onto my old seat, all i have is the track and motors from the old one (see pic). if it looks like more trouble than its worth ill probly jsut post it for sale, it works 100% and is in great shape, i just dont know how much hassle itll be, so youll either get a step by step.... or a for sale ad in the other section
