Urgent Help! NYC

Sorry guys, I am posting here even though it is not directly SVX related.

I found a car I was looking for in NY and I want to buy it. The thing is it has a cracked windshield and I even found a replacement. I don't want to ship this replacement alone, and the dealer cannot change it for me.

Any ideas? The car will be shipped by sea (not in a container though)...

Can anyone provide assistance? Help? Ideas?

Since the dealer won't change it, find a place that can do it there might be an option. Maybe even change it yourself?

Will the dealer allow one of the mobile windshield repalcement services to do it? I've used a company named Safelite Auto Glass with good results. They also operate in NYC.

If you can look up auto glass in the NYC area you can call them.
As far as I know every glass shop will do, even prefers doing mobile installs these days.

For what its worth Safelite is not the best or even in the top 100 they are a recommended insurance replacement company because they are cheap, they do crappy work some of the time.

When I got my svx it needed a front windshield and I used Safelite. They did a remarkable job and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. It was done in my driveway.

Saw them online and sent them an email asking for a quote.
