Does '95 have same problems with tranny as '92?

Looking at this car on ebay right now, looks to be in good condition. 130k miles, original tranny. Does '95 models have same problematic tranny as '92?

not nesecarily. The 94+ vehicles had a revision or two to the trans to keep them from failing as easily but they are still prone to premature failure

I would say YES they have the same problems...just not as frequent.

No, not the same problems.

The early 92, of which make up about 70% of production, had a problem with the type of facings used in the clutches, mainly the torque converter lock/up clutch. Pieces of facings/linings, came away, to block the cooler, and deprive the box of lubrication. This caused the epicyclic gear set to seize.

They all need the brake band adjusted at around 100kl/60km, to take up the wear and prevent 2nd from flaring/slipping.
