New lockers system
 

OK, the new lockers system is in place. There is a minor flaw that is causing some issues with photo uploads. I have searched for a solution and discovered a solution listed on the forums of the developers web site. The problem is that the code change needed to fix the problem is hidden from standard viewing until my support account there gets validated. So, I am in a small holding pattern until tomorrow. I assure you that this is just a little set back and it will be addressed as soon as possible. I will maintain updates in this thread as breakthroughs are accomplished and we near the cutting of the ribbons.

OK, next stage is complete.

I have opened the photo gallery to uploads for admin, moderators, and officers. Once I see that they have been unable to break it, I will open to the donating member class.

Just a bit more patience, we are almost there. Viewing is allowed for anyone at the following link. Just please remember it wont let you upload just yet. Staff only uploads for the test period.

Please note that there are two links on the site to the lockers as well.

One right above the old Locker link in the Header "NEW!! Member Gallery" (in Bright Red).

And one in the "Quick Links" drop down menu in the navigation bar, titled "Member Gallery" (in Bright Red).

I am planning on adding a link in each users post for a direct link to that users locker to eliminate the need for a Locker Link in the signature as well.

That, or a link in the member's profile would be awesome...

...can't wait to clog the new server up with all them pictures I havent been able to upload:D

Its already there, click on the users name, down drops a menu with what you desire!:ninja:

And on that very dropdown menu is where I plan to add the link!

Well, I feel foolish...:o I just saw the flashy New!! Member Gallery, got excited, and immediately started looking for a way to upload my pictures.. after awhile...:o it finally occured to me that I should look for a thread about its working status and how to use it. :p

Anyway, looks great! Thanks so much for all your effort. :)

So, is there still no way to upload pictures? I almost put a new post up but then remembered that it was a new feature so there probably was a thread on it already... Any news on uploads? :)

Okay, it's been a month and a half of testing the photopost software now -- I've got a lot of pictures from Earl's Dabob Seafood Fest 2007 waiting to share with everyone! How long will we be waiting for that "upload" link?

Summing up for anyone else who didn't know: Now that I'm a contributor (easy to do) -- I can post pictures in my own storage space in the new member photo galleries.
