I was just curious if anyone has any idea of how many SVXs are still on the road today?

It would be very interesting to find out. I used to see them everywhere, but now am lucky if I see one a day driving around. I think it's safe to say that far less than half are left.

If I had to guess, I bet there are less than 50 in Conn. I am lucky if I see 1 a month

Not scientific in any way, but for 2011 I think I've seen as many in junkyards as I have randomly on the road. :(

By "randomly" I mean not someone I know or at a meet of some sort.

OK, I'll play along. Alachua County, 3 loved, plus one Claret with 70K miles was for sale on the side of the road, sold (?), no longer there. A young UF lady student with a brilliant Red, probably traded in for a BMW by the parents. Another out in the country with a bad tranny, probably a beer party and target practice down here.
I feel so sarcastic tonight I could kick myself.:(

I bought mine in April of '97 and have only seen a handful of them through 2006. Then I went to New York City for 4 1/2 years and only saw 2 of them while I was there. Now I've been back in California for 6 months and I've only seen 1 (on the freeway).
