The Birth of the first 5 Speed SVX in NC, Anyone wanna help???
 

This is just a copy of the thread that I put in MOD MAINA section..... Just trying to get the word out.... :):D:cool:

My 5 speed will be at my mechanics place by tuesday.... I will be getting to Greensboro, NC around 9:00pm to 10:00pm on friday(6th) night... From there I will imeadiatly jump in my SVX and drive to Asheville, NC... That's where my mechanic is and where the tranny will be... Saturday the 7th is the big install day!!! It will be taking place near Asheville, NC...... If there is anyone that wants to come help give birth to North Carolina's first 5 speed SVX I would appreciate it greatly!!!! We are trying to make it a Saturday ordeal only.... I can't pay anyone for coming but I can provide beer and chips and Pizzia for all that come to lend a hand.... I would rerally appreciate it... Please get up with me if you need directions there.....

DUDE, I finished High School in Asheville NC, and in fact thats where my SVX originates from, after all my mother bought it new there before she sold it to me. I lived there for about 8 years.

I want the name of your mechanic! in a few future trips I could have mine done there.

My family, including my daughter, live in Tryon now.

I'd love to help out, but I'm in the midwest. :(

Damn, you get around. I thought you were going to Aus.? It would be cool to come down and hang and acctually see your SVX, but not quite the day trip for me. Anyway good luck with the swap and I'll be looking forward to a rematch at Reading.

It went to my buddy that got back from Iraq.... I still see it but am looking twards seeing my SVX more now.. :):):cool::D

Alright, the new dates for the project are the 13th,14th,and 15th of June.... Porter and Immortal_Suby said that they would be there... Anyone else think that they would be able to make it next weekend???:D :cool: :)

Bump..... Here's the last call..... Installation will be on the weekend that is staring us in the face at the moment (13th,14th,15th)!!!! Gonna be awesome!!!!
