Happy Birthday SUBYDOO & SVXY
 

Yesterday SUBYDOO turned 53,000 miles and this morning SVXY turned 120,000. HAPPY BIRTHDAY guys.


On a different note, I went to a retirement luncheon in Princeton, NJ yesterday. It was for a fellow that I worked with for about 25 years. I went with 2 other friends from work in SUBYDOO. I drove, Paul was squeezed in back and Trevor rode shotgun. On the way back to work, we were discussing the SVX and Trevor asked about the top speed. He said "NO WAY", when I told him . Since traffic was very sparse on Rte. 95, I floored it. At about 5000 rpm we were going 118 mph (on speedo) when I had to back off. He was amazed that the engine was still pulling strongly. He was talking about it at work all day yesterday afternoon and now I have the 'crazy driver' rep.
Trevor is a black man and his knuckles were white as he was grabbing the dash to hold on. Paul was laughing like hell. He owned a 'Road Runner' when we were all young. Now, Paul wants to take my SVX 'out for a spin', as he calls it.
