Sweet deal! I really like the hood scoop on the red one! I want one of those SVX models but I haven't had the extra $ to buy one :( I even found one that's pearl white like mine.

Best of luck with the new rides

P.S.-Which one(s) are you taking to Reading?

IF I got to Reading I will take either the Claret or the Red car. But most likely the red car because my claret is getting really crappy gas mileage right now. The red car got 23MPG the whole way home. Whereas my claret has been getting 19MPG...it used to get 23-25MPG (talking about after the 4.44 swap).

I'm glad SickSubie's car went to another enthusiast. After seeing it at the Dragon last year I can say that's one SWEET ride!

Congrats on the Claret too

Lovely cars, Rebecca, and I'm pleased too they have found an owner that will care for them properly.

A question; are you saying the Claret had been doing 23 with standard gearbox, but after the 4.44 swap now gives only 19?

You would actually expect a drop, because the engine is now revving more for the same speed than it was before. However if much of your miles included highway, then for a long top gear run you should be in the 20-22 range, down the shops maybe 18. Maybe you are using the right foot a little more with the sporty gearbox ratios?

Joe:)
