Any TALL drivers?

Got a guy interested in buying my SVX that's 6'5" and he's wondering if he'll fit comfortably in it- anyone have any relevant experience here?

tommy96LSi 08-09-2007 05:31 PM

No Problem

I'm six three and everything moves enough to a point where I can sit extremely comfortable. Just don't pull all the way up underneath traffic signals or you'll have a hard time seeing them.

BluebyU is 6'3" I think when he stands up straight. Might wanna send him a PM.

6'-4". No problem until I put my helmet on. Then I have to tilt the seat way back.

SVXyGirl 08-09-2007 06:50 PM

Young Tom is really tall. Ask him. :)

subarufamily 08-09-2007 07:03 PM

too tall??

hey I am 6 ' 8" and i fit just DONT pull up to close to lights or you will have to lean into the pass seat to see the light and if your best friend is in the seat beside you then it looks REALLLLLLLY bad on the other hand if it is your girlfriend /wife it isnt noticed anyway i am tall and fit

nexus_7 08-09-2007 07:08 PM

I am not tall, But I do know there is a screw you can remove in the drivers seat track that lets the electric seat go back a little further.

One more 6' 3"er here. No prob. Even my GF Impreza I sit like 4 slots from front. Though I'm wierd I can't stay comfortable with my legs straight in a car. Good think I"m tall them I guess.:o Reguardless of stats it's a matter of prefferance. I saw one thread about a guy 6' 4" that complained and moved his seat back another 2 inches but her might have had s mody thing this.

I need to find this screw.
I am 6' and lately I am finding it tight. (after 6 years with no problem)
took the seat out a week ago to make sure a dime wasn't stuck in the track or something.
It might be the shoes.

MNYPNNY 08-09-2007 08:06 PM

Send a message to nordique14, he's 6'11"!!

SVXyGirl 08-09-2007 08:17 PM

I feel short....

JaySVX 08-09-2007 08:28 PM

There may be tall folks out there, but it's only the shorter folks i see at the meets! 5'7¼" and i recline my seat ALL the way, cause i have super-short legs, and don't like eating the steering wheel.
