Whats happens to an RX motor when you rev it to 8,000rpms for 2 mins.

Will the modified center diff fit into my MY03 forester tranny?
If so i want it. I have an SVX rear diff here as well and would like to slap her on the dyno.

No factory locking diff, not even close. Thats right I'm supposed to be looking for a diff for you. Sorry I forgot,:rolleyes: I will still look for ya.

I was pissed at my friend once and i revved my RX to 8000 for only a second. I was so surprised there wasnt a rev limiter. It sounded really nice, but it scared me. It kept on running though ;)

I don't think being at 8,000rpms for a few seconds would kill it. I used to rev these things to 8K all the time, just not under a high load for 2 mins.:cool:
