wheel bearing replacement tips

wondering if someone can give me a tip or two.i'm getting ready to replace the rears and ordered new bearings, seals etc from subaruparts.i know they need to be degreased and repacked but what is a safe solvent to degrease them with and is there a grease that is best for these bearings for repacking.i'm going to take the hubs off and have the dealer install the new bearings and i don't want to leave anything to chance so i'll clean and repack myself.thanks for any help. dennis

Re: wheel bearing replacement tips

brake clean or parts cleaning solvent works.. and any high temp bearing grease can be used to pack the bearings
