I just picked up my next mod today at the clearance table of Summit Racing. I'm going to put in an aftermarket single DIN CD player/receiver and above it where the stock tape player use to be will be these:cool:

Looks good. What are the 3 readouts? I can't read them on the picture. :o

I haven't quite explored that too far yet, But I figure if worse comes to worse I'll just replace the stock sensors(oil, water temp.) with the senders for the gauges. I have a few ideas though that I think I can make work without disconnecting anything.;)

I'm tapping into the return line elbow for my line into my water pump (suction side). I'm thinking of tapping directly into the aluminum return at the top of the motor when it's pulled and rebuilt. That is near the stock location, and it is the best location since it will catch vapor temp whereas my connection will not. This was tested and confirmed twice  I'm not sure about oil, so I would like to hear what others have to say. On my WRX oil pump which is similar to the SVX oil pump, there are some plug connections on the pump itself which look like it could be fitted with a pressure sender. It also looks like it could be fitted with an oil cooler. There are two plugs I think one high and one low pressure. I have actually considered getting rid of my oil cooler filter sandwitch, and running a line from the pump, to the oil cooler, and then through the turbo. The oil return would be the same location. Gravity into an oil plug on the rear block. This would save some line too.

I just powered up the gauges to take a peek at them and they differ slightly from the picture and in my opinion are even better.:) The numbers are blue and there is a green bar graph above each gauge that goes up and down with the numbers. Friggin sweet!:D

When you get it installed, take some pictures of it. :)

Don't worry, will do. I picked up the last set available today and I'm trying to decide whether to keep them and put them in my next SVX or my van, or sell them on here. An offer might make up my mind on them though.:D

I'll be the first to say I'm interested, if I can find some more information about them...is there any specs on them? Gauge ranges etc? Accuracy?

Ta,
Matt
