Can someone explain to me the correct way to safely remove my seats? Like turning off the airbags and everything. And will removing the stock seats set off the airbags when i plug them back in?

the seats are not connected to the airbags. All you need to do is remove the 5 bolts and the corners of the seat frame.

I have never heard that someone needs to turn off the air bags when taking the seats out or putting them back in. Maybe someone else has though. :o

I take my seats out to collect the Jackpot.... *coins* and unplug all the elect connectors and all is fine:)

oh alright my repair manual said that i needed to disable the airbags thats why i asked

Disconnecting the airbags to remove the seats is only needed if the seats themselves have airbags in them. Since no SVX ever had that, it is not needed.

i know that in my step dads m3, when he took his seats out he decided to start the car and that caused some major problem with the airbag and he had to replace it with a new one
