Transmission or ?
 

The owner states that the transmission shifts great. The car will go in front wheel drive only. The rear wheel drive is not working. What could this be? Thanks for your help. The one i bought is not the car i am asking about. Just thought i might go for two if the price is right and i can get an idea what the problem might be. Thanks .... It is a transmission problem
 

actually the transfer clutches or solenoid C have failed within the transmission. Both can be serviced separately. Transfer clutch assm plus installation approximately $1000. Not sure about solenoid C however.
