18x8.5, 225x45 R18 too big?
 

I searched, and couldn't find info on this exact combination....
18 x 8, offset 48 with 225/45 18

I know the height will be an inch taller than stock... will that clear ok or will I have issues?

I'm kind of a noob to fitting tires.... my outback gets left stock, and my jeep gets a sawzall when what I want won't fit.

You might be pretty close, my 225-45-18's rub over large bumps and during hard corners, but then again my suspension's a little tired :o

225 is going to be a bit narrow for an 8.5in wide rim...
