Nitrous Question

I am about to set up my nitrous but am indecisive as to how to controll boost. I dont really want a boost switch because i want it to be hidden but a WOT switch would spray in 1st gear. Is it bad for your car to spray in 1st?

Hey man. what's up? I have a '92 LS-L and I had a NX wet kit spraying a 50 shot...I just hooked it up to the spray button with a phone cord type cord...from Auto Zone for like $15. I drilled a small hole in the little removable rectangle on the driver's side of the center console and had the arming swith inside of my center console. It worked fine and then when I uninstalled my kit I just ordered the rectangle part from the dealership...it was like $5. I used to spray a little in 1st gear, my car just roasted the tires in first gear...I found it better to wait and spray in 2nd gear at about 3000 to 3500 rpms.

Good luck

Im either running a 50 or 75 shot. I didnt think a 92 or any AWD modle would spin tires running a small shot. Im more worried about stress on the tranny than anything. I was thinkin about a boost switch but I'm not sure where to mount it. I dont want to have to reach back into the center consol and i was thinking about making a small panel and putting it inside the ashtray. What little rectangle are you talking about? Thanks
