Service By Budfreak

I just wanted to give Jason/Budfreak a good review. I had him do a decent amount of work on my SVX for me. It was overall, a very good experience.

I got to see him at work and was thoroughly impressed by his knowledge of these cars. For example, I watched him grab the correct socket every time, the first time. He grabbed for the right one for the job, no exception.

He takes a lot of pride in his work and if problem is found with it, he is willing to make the sacrifice to get it done right. He didn't charge me for labor on a repair he felt he should have found at an earlier time.

The only negative part of my experiences was that he can take a little longer, because the parts sometimes take awhile to come in or be found.

I will recommend his work. I know I might be going out on a limb in saying so, since it seems like he gets a lot of negativity on this forum. (which in my opinion is somewhat undeserved)

Take it or leave it, but I do want to help his business as much as I can, since he has been willing to help me in whatever way he can.

Thanks for the review of his service. It is important to hear the positives as well as the negatives. :)

He also did well by me when he was in Florida last time. Also a good contact if you need parts. Recently got a 4.44 tranny and rear end from Jason. Shipped in a couple days of my e-mail request.

I haven't done any actual business with the guy, but when I talked to him, he was very straightforward, was quick with his responses, and knew what he was talking about. If it wasn't for the fact I don't want to swap to 4.44 right now, I'd probably buy a tranny from him.

I just got my Ebony back from Budfreak a couple days ago. He came to pick her up for a 4.44 swap and had her finished in about 4 days. She made the 3 hour trip home flawlessly. :)
Another one back on the road thanks to budfreak!
