Auto Tranny # Question

This is the number on the tranny we just installed in Alex's new SVX, can anyone confirm this is a 4.44 tranny?

Would like to be sure before we pick up the rear diff.

i didn't make it to ccr, they appearently close at 2 not three i'll be there monday as there supplying my new flex plate, sorry aboiut the dealy

Thanks...but none of those are exact matches...but they all start with "TZ102"...maybe means 4.44's ??

What I was thinking was that your
"TZ10270CCA" was actually
"TZ102Z0CCA":o

Actually a stock 3.545 starts with TZ102.

Well, it is supposed to be aout of a 97 2.5 Outback...so it should be 4.44's...but it had sat in thier storage out of the car for about 3 years...which makes me worry that they might have it miss marked...guess we'll just assume they had it right.
So Alex will need to pick up a 4.44 rear diff now....

Hi Huck, Why not give Subaru of America a call on Monday and see what info they have about that number on the tranny. Take care, BOBB

i have monday off so i'll be down at ccr then and know there just closed now, i'll get the trannie code gear ratio list from them i should have gotten it before

that is not a valid transsmission # from any of the sources i've tried what kind of car did it come out of again.
and i might be able to go further with it,

Maybe it was a "Z" instead of a "7"...I'm not the one who copied it down....so that is possiable...:rolleyes:
