silla radiator update...

I ordered one of the Silla radiators off e-bay (184.95, free shipping). DavieGravie and I put in in my 92 Liquid Silver this past Saturday. It fit perfectly; everything matched up with no mods required at all. It was a clone of the OEM unit it replaced.
The only issue was they dicked around and did not ship quickly.....ordered and paid for on a Sunday morning, and did not ship until the following Thursday. When I called their toll free number, I got some damn foreigner who could not speak ENGLISH! Imagine that!
No probs with the radiator itself....

I just noticed a small leak under the front of my car this weekend, but haven't really tried to locate it yet....but it looked to be under the radiator, so once I find it for sure, and if it is the radiator, I'll get one on order and report back on it.:)

Huck, did you ever get this radiator?

Nope,
turns out mine was fine, so I had no need to get one (as of yet)
But I too would like to know more about the option....if anyone has gotten one.

Are you saying that shipping is $165 for a radiator? Or is that radiator with shipping included?

ensteele 01-13-2007 10:21 AM

Ooops - sorry! :o :o I read some of the previous posts like I should have the first time and see that would be radiator and shipping total. Right?

That is a very good price. Can you post a picture here so we can see what they look like? Thanks. :)

FYI... When I ship things to my friend in St Thomas, USPS is WAY cheaper that UPS or FedEx
