See locker for details and pictures, please let me know what you think, is it repairable, dealer sayz no, but I think he's trying to rob me blind.

A stick of TNT, duct tape, another stick of TNT, lots and lots more of duct tape. One of the spark plug coils used as igniter...

There was this rattle inside the traney when all of a sudden BAM:eek: and all the traney fluid poured out... Several people wanted to see pictures...

I also agree it's not worth trying to fix. So are you going to use another auto or go to a 5 speed?

My what a lovely boat anchor you have.



A very competent machine shop could probably repair the casing - for a hefty fee, of course - but then you still have to fix the guts. Anything is fixable, but economically, this is a looser. Keep it just in case you need any parts (like a transfer clutch, or valve body, or a solenoid, or front differential, or, or, or...) but consider a slightly smaller paperweight.
