wooden heads 3

Tranny tales part 3
The plates have no clutch material - in fact very little metal either!
Tempting to have another glass of wine but as it is only 11am perhaps coffee and biscuits are more in line.
Let me know if you want to know how it is all going to end!!

Yes, please. I find your memoirs very interesting. I am very mechanical, but I do not believe I would ever attempt to rebuild a tranny myself, especially outside.

What part of France are you in?

Interesting to read. If you could keep it all in one thread it would be much easier to follow the story. Would like to see some pictures too. Thanks for sharing so far...

Yes, please continue. Especially the wine part.

The other Ron.

All I gotta say, Ron (Wallace), is - you are DA MAN!

My hat's off to anyone who wakes up one morning and says "Gee, it's raining, think I'll rebuild the tranny out in the back yard." Somehow I have the impression you're going to do a great job. Keep us posted.

" Wooden Head " not likely. Your description of your approach and what you have accomplished so far indicates the exact opposite. Keep at it and keep posting.

This has the makings of the best thread on record. Start a thread to be continued under say, " Shade Tree Tranny Overhaul " to more truly describe the contents and include what has taken place to date. You could become famous.

You will have friends here who do have a manual and I am sure all will try to assist as much as possible. Some may have not read your posts as the heading may not have provoked their interest. It was purely luck that made me curious. Harvey for one should be interested.

You are taking care but even so may you also have the best of luck as well and may the rain stay away !
