A good Subaru dealer should give you a 20% NASIOC discount or match the subarupart.com prices. I do it all the time.



Remember there is a newer design, much stronger flex plate (plate drive) available for the SVX

This is the Phase II Flex Plate P/N 12332AA071 is a direct bolt up replacement for our engines and our Phase I transmissions...

According to micrometer readings, the old style plates are 2.05mm thick
The new style plates are 3.25mm thick.

The original Phase 1 Flex Plate had only 4 holes and was much thinner. I believe that part number was 12332AA052

Thanks for that! For my parts, I would have needed a 25% discount from subaruparts.com to end up with a similar price!!! Any idea where these guys are located?

Well, their parts are cheaper and their shipping is lower. The only way subaruparts.com competes is if they give a huge discount.

Thanks for the help. I did find that my local "Tim's Subaru" is willing to stand by the web prices from Subaruparts.com. That helps with the shipping also.

Anyone have an intact set of inner and outer timing covers they would like to unload?
