Did the VR4 come in a Spyder version? I thought the Spyders were all FWD N/A Cars like the SL.

Yes, but in very few numbers. Something like 800-900 VR-4 Spyders were made.

The VR-4 was produced in a spyder version during the '95-'96 MY. You can read all about them here: 3000GT Spyder Site

So what the hell else could it be. Boxster and Carrera GT are RWD. Cayenne is most definitely not a convertible. There are no other current production porsches...

I also park next to a Boxster! Sweet looking cars. But nope, this car is definitely a Porsche, awd and a convertible....

One of the female VP's at my company drives it. Used to own a blue '00 Acura NSX-T before this one. :)
