Poor man's Ferrari!
I don't think this video's been posted to the network. But found it somewhat interesting...not only is the svx considered a "poor man's ferrari", his version came with turbochargers!!!

Re: Poor man's Ferrari!
I don't know where he came up with the twin turbo idea but that SVX is normally aspirated. Obviously he didn't bother to open the hood, or should I say bonnet.

Re: Poor man's Ferrari!
yeah he completely discrediteds himself with that comment. It's statements/videos like this where rumors originate

Re: Poor man's Ferrari!
Wow.. that was terrible.
50% of the hassle? Ha. I loved how the turbos kicked in when he floored it, really shows. |
Re: Poor man's Ferrari!
He probably felt the step down into Power mode and saw the light and fig it was . He did mention the lag.:barf:
|
Re: Poor man's Ferrari!
And it says he's an editor for one of the biggest car magazines in the world.
|
Re: Poor man's Ferrari!
Well there's not quite as much lag on that car now since I had the Ecutune chips fitted (and I've taken both turbos off!). Thanks for the posting I've seen my car in a magazine before and now she's a video star!

Re: Poor man's Ferrari!
Yes, 'twas sarcasm but it is indeed my car. It's got a new registration number and 19" wheels now but the paint is still as good. Oh, and the radio cover still wobbles!
