Bassist's of the forums!
Anybody have any good suggestions for a nice warm up song?
I've gotten alittle rusty being out of town for work so much :( I've been looking around at alot of different songs but I was wondering if anybody here had any suggestions? Dustin |

I play guitar and violin, but this could apply here as well. how long have you played first, and how would you consider yourself at understanding sheet music, tabs, or by ear?

I know that The Faceless, After The Burial, Veil Of Maya, and Born Of Osiris are all going to be in Seattle on November 16th. I've already requested time off from work lol.
As for the topic at hand, I think that if you've played for 11yrs and understand music it'd be best to use tabs and a song that you've listened to enough that you could hum without having the track on. I usually warm up playing Born Of Osiris' "Empires Erased." |

I think a simple but fun sounding base tune that I learned which covers not only hitting frets, but also pulling and sliding strings is Rocking the Casbah by The Clash.:)
