The subaru logo shape, SHOULD definitely go :barf: |
Those Audi headlights are a bit taller than the SVX one aren't they? So this goes beyond just modifying the plastic bits like the bumper, grill, etc. They would have to cut out some of the metal structure the headlights mount to and put it back in a lower position for those to fit. And I assume some changes had to be made to the fenders as well because those new lights are also taking the place of the turn signals (all in one unit) and won't go back along the side as far (and where they do curve back is going to be slightly taller than SVX signals too). Lots of metal work before we even get into the fiberglass fabbing.
The Subie emblem is just too much, but it definitely draws attention and screams "concept car". But the big gaping areas in the front scream "ricer" rather than "exotic". Wonder what the rest of the car looks like? |

Bad, bad, all bad.
Headlights are too vertical, the downturned corners of the hood look like junk. Looks like a Mustang from the front. My first reaction to the picture was: Hey, why did they put a Subaru logo on that Mustang? The hood is a travesty. The bumper has too many sharp angles. The rear makes me want to curl into a little ball and cry. The guy has bodywork skills, I'll give him that, but he has no taste. |
I'm not feelin the big gaping holes, but it's neat.
-- Ugh the rear bumper is horrible! |

.....dear god.....
I love the custom bent to **** hood corners and fender edge to make the lights fit. GREAT craftmanship, dumbass I really cant say anything else that anyone else isnt alreay thinking....:barf::barf::barf::barf::barf::barf::b arf::barf::barf::barf: |
I love it when people have a one-off car like that, and then go through the trouble of blocking out their license plate in their pictures...
Rear end looks like aZZ, way too angular for as rounded of a car as the SVX. Front would look better with a proper grill and without the Klingon forehead on the hood, and properly smoothed/welded pie cuts in the fender to fit the lamps. |
