Help installing a Transmission cooler....

I want to add a transmission cooler to my 1992 SVX. I've heard about people installing them in the fender well (drivers side). What is the best location to install the cooler (does anyone have any pics?)
And which cooler should I go with?

Thanks.

Cooler

I would use Summit.
Cooler = BMM-70255 $42.88
External Filter = SUM-G4980 $29.99 (Perma Cool)

I used these on mine and they work great. The external filter does not have the predrilled hole in the top for a temp sending unit. It was cheap and it works :D

I for got the Summit Links...

Filter no hole

Perma Cool with temp gauge
External Thermostat (cold weather areas a must)

I think SVXRide also has some pics in his locker of the fenderwell install.

The fenderwell install is good as long as you can get some airflow through the cooler. I'd suggest getting an ATF cooler with an electric fan that is operated by a thermostat.

Yep, check my locker. I tried to fully document the process. PM me if you've got any questions.

Put it between the radiator and a/c condensor....its alot easier that way.
