Turned on the radio this morning to hear that we have had the 1st heavy snowfall for 7 years. The airport has closed and most roads are considered impassable. The Police are asking for motorists to stay at home.

That's Andy out on the (wrong side of the) road with that big grin on his face (and nobody to see it).........

(Thats not heavy snow...... )

It pains me, Andy, to see that you're being subjected to such frigid conditions. Especially when it's 60 degrees and sunny, here in Kentucky. :D:D:D

I was a little worried when I bought my SVX, because I traded my 4x4 Toyota pickup for it. And I lived in VT. Northern Vermont. :)

I actually only got it stuck once - trying to back it out of a parking spot without removing the huge pile left behind the car by a plow. I dug it out by hand in about one minute.

I was always amazed how well the car handled deep snow. Granted, 'deep' is relative to its low ground clearance, but it's very capable.

unless, like mine right now, you have a rear diff or clutch problem... rear wheels kick in hard and rough when the front end starts to slip. :(
