2007 WRX 5 speed ?

Just a quick question that I'm sure someone knows the answer to. I've wanted to swap in a 5 speed for some time & found a 2007 WRX 5 speed & rear end with 7k (roll-over). Is the 07 5 speed compatible ??
Thanks

get the rear diff to match. They changed to a 3.70 FD in 06. Not to mention the clutches changed then too so make sure that you get a clutch/flywheel to match the trans

Thanks Tom. I'll check with the seller but does have a rear end with it. Not sure about clutch / pressure plate. If I get this, it will be a bit of a project & will probably require your 5 speed conversion hardware right? Please advise as I'll want to get rolling on it soon. Thanks, Zane

Yes you are going to need a X-member, shifter linkage, driveshaft, pedal assembly, starter, flywheel, clutch, and all associated Hardware. Having the trans is one thing... More times than not, the rest of the hardware will cost more than the trans itself.
