I want to get the carillos. I need to know which subies are interchangeable with the svx rods

Speedklix 09-19-2007 09:02 AM

i think they started with eg22 rods... check the ecutune threads is what I'm getting at This sort of thing with "rods" and "ecutune"

I know I was gonna try eg22 when I was doing it alone... I'm gonna get them from LAN when I am ready to get back to it

actually i also have dis one. can both be merged to become Giugiaro ??

TomsSVX 09-19-2007 01:36 PM

STI rods are the same along with the ej22 rods... Just go ahead and check the specs for the bores and length in your factory manuals

That's nice too.

You can keep 'em guessing!

Don't have a factory manual... any link?

bottom line, does the USDM STi rods fit instead of stock EG33 rods?

TomsSVX 09-19-2007 04:55 PM

yes.... but since the SVX crank is internally balanced you would want a weight matched set of 6 not just any 6 you can find

Tom

longassname 09-19-2007 07:57 PM

are you in FL?

Lighter, otherwise the stock rods with ARP bolts would be fine. Im telling you, you are best off getting the Eagle H-Beams that LAN has available
