Can we add a "How To Section" for the SVX
May I suggest a section dedicated to how to repairs with complete step by step instructions, i.e. "Install Spark Plugs" on the SVX Network. Even if the section contained only links to other peoples website. Before I would of never attempted it, but by reading nvrmore100's web page, I was confident that I could do it, and I did. It would be nice to have a central location on how to do things that people have attempted and done. For me, I would like to know how GreenSVX retrofitted his SVX with H.I.D.'s, and I am sure other people would like to know as well. It's nice having lockers you can look at pictures. But sometimes you want to know more and need detailed information on how that person did it. Anway just my 2 cents. But here is a link to nvrmore100's website:

Nice how to?
Yea I guess it is nice, " How to" But it is buried in all the lockers that I would of never went looking in there. I mean a "Real Section" lets say under "Wanted for Sale" The new members don't know there is a "How To" I did not know that until now. Lets put it in plain site so everyone will know where it is. That is all I am suggesting here.

I wasn't really tring to give you a hard time, just pointing you in the right direction.
I actually think it's a good ideal to give it a section, maybe have to summit the how-to's to a moderator to be inserted into the section. |
Great Idea
At the very least it would eliminate doing searches and then having to search through the results hoping to find a true "how to". I think the "how to" locker should definitely contain the pics that go with all how-to's. I know the pics for the Alt mod helped me when it came to routing the positive cable from the alt. to the battery.
My 2 cents worth. -Bill |
Change
So how do we go about to make this change and add a "Real How To Section"? Ask one of the moderators to change or do we take a poll???
