Replacing The Svx?
Just curious what you guys and gals think about the B911s as a replacement for the SVX? If they make it I'll be first inline! :D :D

Old skool buddy, old skool only!!! I don't want an Alfa Romeo Grill !!! |
Looks like a cross between a 350z and an rx8, not bad .... but not good either.
My self ..... I'm looking for an SVX ;) http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/images/large/1616-1.jpg http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/images/large/1616-2.jpg http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/images/large/1616-3.jpg http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/images/large/1616-4.jpg http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/images/large/1616-5.jpg http://www.zinikwheels.com/IMAGE/rides/350Z-1.jpg http://asmic.com/collect/rx-8tm/pics/rx8-pk24.jpg |

I don't want an Alfa Romeo Grill !!![/QUOTE] Well, since the current Subaru chief stylist CAME from Alfa Romeo, I suspect we'll be seeing a LOT of Alfa grills! Car doesn't look too bad, other than the front. Better than another Outback. But now that Subaru's part of GM, and they're selling Imprezas as Saabs, who knows what we'll get |

we were due for another thread like this - its been at least a week or so. |
Never to Alfa or the rx-8. don't get me wrong I love the Z's and the rx-7's but hate the 8's and alfas grill so no Ill save $30k and get another SVX

Darn! I just searched through the German Subaru web site for any glimpse of what new models might be coming out over here. The closest I came to is an article called "Subaru sucht die Allrad-Lady 2005" (Subaru searching for all-wheel Lady 2005).
http://www.subaru.de/aktuell/news-detail.htm?id=206 Not exactly the kind of car model I was thinking of  |

Remember though that alot of car design these days is by the way of aerodynamics and keeping up with the JONES'S :D .Don't ever forget if they make this car it's still a SUBARU, not a Z or RX :p :p ;) I'd still #1 inline to buy one! :D .Unfortunetly we will never see another car like that GREAT OLD SVX!! We have to keep ours as long as possible. |

I'm afraid we're going to see more of that front end, as it seems to be the new Subaru corporate "face", judging by the B9 and the '06 WRX. The B11 IS derivative, but I'd just like to see Subaru produce something sleek again. Right now, their hot car (the STi) just looks like a sedan with riceboy parts stuck on it (sigh). |
How about this car? Which just happens to be my favorite car.

The Ford GT is a nice car - except for the recalls for the suspension parts cracking. But to Ford's credit, THEY recalled the car, not the government. And oh yes, there is the engine oil leak and the cooling fluid leaks too.
Don't mean to get the Ford haters up and typing, but thought I would mention this. Hell of a car regardless.... I have seen one up close and personal at Summit Point. And it runs like stink!!! Harry |
that is a car that looks very nice. I like it better than some of the other new ones coming out. It looks very expensive and I am not sure of the price but I am sure it is not cheap! :) :)

BARRY Z replied with the cost, and I agree - $150,000 is way out of my range  I didn't get an opportunity because the signup sheet was already full when I arrived :( , but at the Summit Point event I attended (it was a Ford SVT event), but Ford was giving rides around the track (and at speed too!!) for a $40 charity donation. I really hate I missed that! That thing FLEW - very low. Harry |
