What spring rate do you recomend for GC springs?

Ive decied to go with the koni GC rought and iam wondering, what spring rate do you recomend with GC springs. Ive read that 380F, 325R is spose to be one of the better setups. Remeber that this car is going to be a dailey driver.

That's the rates I'm using. The ride can be changed just by adjusting the front struts. That makes a big difference. It's quite acceptable for a daily driver.

There ordered and on there way, 380F, and 315R, they couldent get 325R for some reason.

"Excluding those originally equipped with electronic suspension."

There were SVXs equipped with that? I thought the Subaru XT only had something of that sort. And if some SVXs did, how exactly did it work?

TomsSVX 07-28-2005 09:34 PM

i guess I don't have it....

I thought they were talking about the XT6 and some of the other Subarus that had the air suspensions.
Then I found this Thread so I guess a few SVX's did have an electronic suspension and steering system.

mbtoloczko 07-29-2005 02:30 PM

They are referring to the SVX with 4-wheel steering.

Now I know all SVXi have what has been called passive 4ws. Will the addition of the koni/GC nix that or just improve on it??

Well if its passive then its probley built into the rear suspension, by having the rear lateral link not perpandicular to the transverse links which will cause the tire to toe in and out during travel, kind of like bump steer. So if you reduce the travel of the suspension less movement toe wise should happen so i guess it does take away from it.
