I don't get what you're asking. Pennsylvania is sort of like a rectangle with a protrusion on the upper left side. The right side is kind of squiggly.

Little known fact. Colorado has a little notch in the North West corner of the state inside Dinosaur Natl. Monument. That always fascinated me as a kid, although I never did find an explanation for it.

Anyhow I've always thought California looked like an arm. I guess that'd make me the wrist, and Reno the armpit (sorry Chris).

Reno IS an armpit, ask anyone who lives there......

But I guess it beats Virginia, who looks like West Virginias appendage is resting on its head....

"Florida is America's wang."

Which could be either a good or bad thing depending how you look at it.

So America is a one-armed bandit? I mean, seriously, where is the other arm?

Don't blame me for the smell.

Blame it on Staten Island.

Since I feel that I have 'GRASPED' the original intent of this thread....

We are in a world of HURT!! I have had (2) layoff days, where NO compensation was offered for my absence. THEN another $5,000,000 was slashed from the 'coffers' that my LIFE feeds from.

That is not to say that I have my nose pressed into the hogtrough that is guv'ment.

I/we 'provide' a service for the Disabled, or over 65, croud.
I have been involved in these 'programs' for the last 22 years!
This is the FIRST year that I have to tell people that there is NO service that will haul 'Mom' home from the nursing home for her 'LAST' Christmas!

Yea, our state SUCKS!! 'Tax and spend' has ran out of money!

Stuff is so bad here that the banks won't even forclose!

Iowa cut it's budget mid-year, for the second year running. 10% across the board this year.

The private sector is squeezed by high state taxes, and now state taxes aren't covering the state budget. Revenues are way down across the board.

Otherwise, it is getting cold, and not quite all of the crops are in from the fields. not much else to report.
