I hate driving my SVX now
 

I had my right rear wheel bearing poop out on me last Thursday. So, in a pinch (Mostly due to the fact that I didn't have much money at the time) I had to pawn my Audiobahn A8002T amp for my subwoofer to fix my car. No car = no income. Now I hate driving around without my BOOM, wicky wicky, BOOM.

Worst part is that I have enough money in my pocket right now to go get it back, but I'd feel safer having insurance on my beloved SVX. I had however struck a deal with my mom about the amp, that if I couldn't get it back, she would get it for me and I would pay her back. I told her that I would go ahead and pawn it and should be able to get it back no problem. I had missed out on two full days of work and that put a nice little dent in my paycheck. Now she is acting like there is no dilemma. I know it is not her place to give a hoot, but the deal was made. She would be losing out now but in the next paycheck or two, she would be paid back the 150 that I owe her for the pawn buyback. I need $150 quick and don't feel like paking out a payday loan.

It also doesn't help when I have to make payments on a stupid ticket.

Dude, honestly, I know what it's like to be in love with the car, but maybe it's not the best choice for a delivery vehicle.

I think you need to examine your priorities a little.

If I had my choice, I would make the SVX a garage queen. But with the way money is and our current economy in a slump, finding another job or even getting a POS car is a few months out.

All in due time.

i delivered pizza whilst in college from 1990 - 1992. i had a fairly new car at the time - a 1987 chevrolet nova. i just about killed this car in two years. i highly recommend not putting your svx through that torture and pick up a second vehicle for work.

Hmm. All the pizza delivery guys around here drive Lexus's, Infinitys, Acuras, and even one with a WRX. Most of them have the 20" blings and you can hear the bass from a mile down the road. Delivering pizza my ass.:rolleyes:
