Well damn, now I have to decide what will look best on my green SVX. I have a set of rear gold sti brembos but I don't like the gold for a green car. But the options of silver is interesting seeing as that is the color of the Subaru 6 pot ra-r brembo setup. Hmm I guess I have to think about silver or red now then have my rears powder coated to match what I choose for the fronts.

Lol I should of just shut up and not said anything, red is the cheapest option for you at my end as the other colours will add AUD$200-$300 to the price

I think the red on the green would look pretty good though

Yea I am still thinking the red probably over the silver. The red has that OEM look of brembos and would look good with the green and machined aluminum wheels. I still have a couple weeks to decide then I will send out the rear calipers to get rid of the ugly gold. Gotta deal with my head gaskets first after I get the stripped bugeye out of my yard this weekend.

Did you decide?

Re: 6 pot mono block Brembo calliper kit

Probably red. I'm gonna send my rear brembos out this week or next. Now I just need to get the money for wheels to fit over these things. Hopefully the OEM wheels will fit over the rears so I can at least move it around and drive it some with the rears and the rear coilovers in.

Right now Im more dealing with the blown head gasket. Hopefully come September I can actually drive the car. Sucks to pay 4000 for a built motor and find out it has a blown HG the first real test drive you take it on. I can't wait to pull the heads off and see what gaskets they used.

Price update

Due too changes to availability of stock (excess ford falcon fpv stock) being sold out, prices have gone up but still cost price

Kit now is $2,760 for just calipers and mounting brackets, price could come down to $660 for brackets plus second hand calipers when and if the become available here.

I looked up on brembo's site for a part number for a ford falcon, and I didn't see any application listing under their international catalog. Any part numbers on the calipers and rotors?

20.a376.31 R or L depending on if it's left or right, there must be a vehicle is the us that uses the same caliper? These calipers are the same as the jdm Sti 6 pot brembos

Cannot find that part number through brembo or even google searching the number pulls up nothing even when I select Australia as the country when I'm on brembo's site. It's not listed with any of the wholesale distributors I have that carry Brembo.

I'll take a pic of it but I doubt you'll find them cause I think it's an oem part number, I'll get the part number off the set that is standard generic brembo caliper

rotors from dba in t3 spec part numbers are front dba42102 two piece dba52102 (replacement rings 52102.1) Front pads part number is db1845 (same as current model amg brembos)

Re: 6 pot mono block Brembo calliper kit

so just to clarify then it's an oem part that brembo offered through ford as a factory option? I can get with my contact at brembo directly, but I don't want to make an ass out of myself looking for a part number that doesn't exist. The more clarification I can get the better. Thanks!
