New & Improved Supercharger Idea
I was reading this and thinking about SC or (Nitrous and Water Injection) as options a little later. Perhaps use the same SC and place where the stock air box is? Looks very feasible and doable, only pushing 3-4 PSI use a Impreza FPR and SAFC-II should do the trick and cost less than $1K, maybe
Just thinking Ohh, the thread... http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=605625 |
Ideas entering head,calculations,BOOST,SVX,13's,OMFG:eek: I will now be on ebay for the next _ hours looking for a supercharger if anybody needs me.:D
|
Heh...so basicly thus eliminating the need for a custom manifold (Or at least in terms of to accomodate a supercharger)
No worrying about the intake manifold hitting the hood....Thats a genious little setup, I must say. And them type of superchargers seem to go mcheap on ebay (Particularly ones from older buics) Id likely go with a paxon supercharger like SVXfiles, but hell, for the money something like tha could well be worth it |
Not bad at all looks very effective especially on a svx motor.

Man those C230 Kompressors are sold very cheap here in used parts shops!!!, but 13psi is not enough for me...

Get a job hippie! Oh, Wait.:o I'm the one without a job. Get a haircut hippie!:p |
I guess the only downside to that idea is that the ABS would have to be re-located to the svx parts for sale thread.:p all that piping sure looks fun
