Looking For Ideas On Non-car Part Sales

I have a piece of personal protection that I am wanting to sell. I am seeing these sold online for twice what I paid for it and would like to sell mine, but don't know where to sell it. I am not saying what it is because I am sure this not the place for that, but I will say that that it has a clip. Ebay and craigslist don't allow selling things of this sort and I was just wondering if anyone here would know where I could post such an item online for sale. It is almost new, and I need some money to feed my SVX habit. It's 100% legal and 100% fun, but not a take-it-to-work-with-you kind of fun the SVX is.

Some local shops will sell on consignment. You might check with them. :)

If it's a firearm, there are a couple of good firearm auction sites. Just remember if you're selling it across state lines, it'll need to be shipped to a licensed FFL dealer.

And I don't think there is anything on here about not selling guns... I might be interested, I need to add to my collection lol

It cannot be a firearm...

Firearms don't have 'clips'...

Firearms have 'Magazines'.:1337:

not ENTIRELY accurate, my rifle (Russian Mosin-Nagant M44 carbine) has a "clip" that holds 5 rounds that you use to load the integral magazine (stripper clip, similar to an SKS) but yeah I know, I got that lecture from my brother about clip vx. magazine...

YourConfused 12-19-2007 06:05 PM

Consignment, never thought of that. That sounds like a easy solution.
Selling locally would make it easier for me and should help keep it out of bad hands. But you never know...
The clip belongs to a Luger AB 10 by Intratec. Also called a Tech 9.
I guess you could call it a magazine if you want. It holds 37 rounds which makes it a kinda heavy, but lets the fun last a little longer. I have only shot it on two occasions in the 9 years that I have owned it which is sad, but amo isn't too cheap, and a box of 100 fmj's only does last about 15 minutes with reloading taking a while. I have thought about keeping it as the value has been going up over the years, but by the time it is really valuable guns like that probably won't be legal anymore. It is pre-ban, registered, I have a license, but I bet a oinker wouldn't be pleased to find it if doing a search.
Selling it could get me a new hood though.

Hey OT wanna trade me for a class glass?

Is that like, full auto? *drool*

My friend's dad has an Uzi that's full auto, he says it's interesting to control it when it's in full auto mode, even with the stock attached.

And..

Actually not bad to control. Carried one for a couple years in my briefcase. ;) Overseas of course. :p

Due to legal ramifications I have refrained form the 60 sec. mod required for this to be full auto, which is why it is still fully legal. If I don't get it sold then I may as well go for the mod as I have been so tempted for so long by it.

If you are worried about legal matters on ownership go to Lowes and buy some PVC, make a waterproof tube big enough for said item, plenty of rust preventative and dessicant and bury it for a rainy day, with ammo of course. Also try www.gunco.net they have a classified section for sales of such items and a huge forum for anything gun related.

I've discovered that you can buy the parts to make, say, an AK47 fully auto, and it's perfectly legal. You can also buy a semi-auto AK47 (Unless you live in Commiefornia) and it's perfectly legal. But, if you have them both, it's "Intent to construct a machine gun" and it'll get you in almost as much trouble as actually having a full auto AK that hasn't been obtained through the proper channels...

I've thought about getting a full auto trigger group and squirreling it away somewhere so if world war 3 happens, I'll be able to defend myself loll.. (although full auto is really only good for three things:

1) Mowing down a large group of people
2) keeping someone's head down
3) Showing off)
