Grill Paint Prep Question
I have in my possession a used 97 grill. It is currently Laguna Blue but has definitely been painted over the original red color. (Also it has a few tiny chips in the blue, the color under the chips is red). I need it to be painted Silver.
I am wondering if I should simply sand it down a little to rough up the paint then prime and paint it, or should I try to strip the existing 2 layers of paint off it before putting on my color? Since it is plastic I am not even sure if stripping is possible? What do you all think? |
