2017 Alcyone SVX
surprised this wasn't on here. from NASIOC:
http://d2i6c6y1xqgf7t.cloudfront.net...l/scoop683.jpg http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2629960 "Subaru plans to buy THS, Toyota Hybrid System for 2017 new model. This new THS has 2 mortors. It's far more bigger than Subaru's 1 mortor hybrid system that was used for XV hybrid. So this THS is not easy to use for current Legacy. This system is rumored to be used for newly designed coupe, 2017 SVX. More details are written in this article. It's written in Japanese. http://www.carsensor.net/contents/newmodel/_25096.html |
Re: 2017 Alcyone SVX
Interesting... need more pics!
As it is now, it looks like a newer BRZ model and not something as unique as the SVX should be. |
Re: 2017 Alcyone SVX
I can't read Japanese but, it appears the intent is a successor to the XT and SVX. Doesn't float my boat yet, too mainstream.

glad that Subaru is even considering this. Hopefully if its true, it looks 1/2 as good as the original. i just wonder if it will be priced out of my league like the original, too. |
Re: 2017 Alcyone SVX
it looks like an RX-8

Re: 2017 Alcyone SVX
It would be cool to have another version of the SVX, but I'm not holding my breath or anything, and if it did come out likely I could not afford it.

at least Subaru styling has been a little better lately, so that's promising - the WRX looks like an EVO now. :D a new SVX would have to have some eye-catching styling, hopefully without being goofy-looking. |

Too be honest I'm pretty sure I want a 2015 Mustang anyhow. |
Re: 2017 Alcyone SVX
