What is normal for idle and at around 2500RPM cruising on the highway, level ground?

Well if you are talking about a SVX, its about,10* to 20* BTDC at idle, it changes around to control the idle speed.

Light throttle cruise about 55* to 65* BTDC, when the pedal is on the floor would go to about 34* BTDC.:)

So, correct me if I am wrong but 50 degrees while cruising would indicate that there is NOT a knocking problem, correct? The number goes up if knocks are sensed, right?
