Pittsburgh Dinner Meet Soon?
 

Do any of yinz have a free evening in the next couple of weeks to get together for dinner in the area? I dont have internet access right now. The cable company cant hook me up for like 3 weeks because they're apperently very backed up. Because of this, please give me a call if you need anything as I only get onto check the network about once every 2 days or so. My number is 724.992.0800.

I am free almost every night this month (that sound pretty pitiful) except for Friday the 13th (little sisters dance recital) and the weekend of the 27th (my birthday).

being unemployed gives me a lot of time

i think we should make an svx showing at the robinson QSL car cruise

they're on sundays and run till 9 when the cops kick the cruisers out..

oh.... if you want to do it friday i think we should make a showing at the starlight cruise at the northway christian community 'church'

next Friday? i'm off work Monday, but that's probably tough for most 'normal' people! anyplace in mind? Station Square? Philthy McNasty's, Hooter's? give suggestions. :)

I work 'till 5:30 on friday so we have to make it at least 7. Keep in mind i dont have my svx either. :( Anywhere in station square would be fine. Although getting there from the north is a big fiasco with the construction on the bridge. I would love to be down there though. we could get pics of all the SVX's with the skyline in the background. Decisions, Decisions. ;)

Actually I might be able to make it next Friday. I have to go buy tickets for my sisters dance recital and I figured that I would go on whatever day had the best seats. So if Friday is best for everyone else I'll just get tickets for Sat. show.:D

next Friday or Saturday is good for me. i can't stay out TOO late or drink too much (gotta work Sat/Sun morning) but i'm in. :)

OK, Since I'm taking charge here. ;) Here are the details:

Saturday the 14th at 7:00PM.

We are meeting at the Parking Lot on the far end of station square down by Hooters and such. There is usually open parking area down there where we can get some pictures.

Brad and I were discussing this last night and I believe we came to the conclusion that the Hard Rock would be the best place for us to eat. Does anyone have any objections to this?

And to anyone that's down there often, is it correct that the only way to get to station square from the north is to go through downtown and cross over the smithfield street bridge?

i think that is the only way, but i could be wrong. coming from the south is a mess, too. i think i can get to Station Square after i get out of the Liberty Tubes. i think. ain't construction fun? haven't been to the Hard Rock yet, so that should be cool.

I haven't been to the hard rock yet either. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!!!!:D

What I dont understand is why they wont let you go to the right at the west end circle. it's all cut off with big cemet things for no reason, and they make you go across the west end bridge, then back across the smithfield bridge. It's so stupid. :mad: :mad:
