High presure power sterring hose leak where to get one?
Well the leak has gotten worse, and its time for a replacment, no parts store has one, and no hydralic store that ive been to has the magical ends that will work so they would be able to make up a new one for a decent price. I called up the dealer and they said my, rare style 1st designed one will cost around 131 dollors with tax, which is a high for some strong rubber and metal fitttings. So i was wondering if i could switch to a newer style one that cost less? Thanks

The subaru dealer is your only option.

yeah but can I convert to a newer, and cheaper style hose?

No, it has to have the right fittings for it to fit properly. Check Subaruparts . com for the hose Here It is #16 and is $76.19. Good luck. :)

Yeah I checked on there but my power sterring hose is diffrent from the one that they show, Its not as long, it comes from the sterring rack in the same place but only goes up to the top then stops about 1 inch later. Then it reconects to a hard pipe that follows the same route as the one in the diagram. Iam going to check part numbers tomaro, hopefully the diagram is wrong.

I was able to get a hose made for my car but it does involve a bit of welding and the original ends. The hose also has a larger inner diameter than stock for better flow.
