Misc. Ramblings

I took the '92 SVX up to Syracuse for work in the wee hours of last Fri morn. and returned Fri. afternoon. I made it from my house to the supplier's shop in 3 hrs. & 52 minutes flat. I battled patchy fog in the mountains all the way. Coming home I challenged a Z-28 Camaro at speed and won. Then a white BMW Z-3 came after me at speed. He backed off at a little over 100.
Rte 81 is great when the road is empty and the sun is bright and the temp. is 65F.
When I left DE, the temp was 71F and it was humid. I had on a short sleeve polo shirt and jeans. When I got to Syracuse at 6:45 AM, the temp was 44F. I was freezing.

I think I've finally solved my home computer/internet problems last night. The wire from the phone jack to the computer seems to be the culprit. I have to stop at Radio Shack on the way home tonight and get a new phone cord.

Oh, did I mention;

" GO YANKEES !!"

Ah, a Red Sox Fan.
Have you seen the "Curse of the Bambino" on HBO.

or

How could they have 2 out and bases loaded and let a bunt bring in the winning run? Someone has to teach the infielders where to throw the ball to get the last out.
I can accept such things from the Phillies or the Tigers but not the Red Sox.
