Man, I really wish people would quit parting out all these running SVXs.... it takes another one off the road forever.

Conventional wisdom dictates that when the cost of needed repairs exceeds the "book" value of the car, toss the car. I say, what matters is what the car's worth to you.

Often overlooked is a known-commodity value that's hard to ascribe, but it increases if you've owned the car for a good length of time and/or are familiar with its history.
