Deal of a lifetime

Ok.

Boys and girls:

This is the deal. The guy in my complex is going to sell his SVX. It's 92 Perl w/spoiler. I talked to him and he said he wants at least 2000 for it. Again 2000. He told me that it will not be soon but when he does, he will tell me.

Let me know if anyone is interesed. I think i might be but 3 SVXes are just too much. :D

you'll be able to have your own mini meets :D

Lwin. Get me some more info on the car. I may not be able to pass up an SVX for less than the price of a transmission.

Mileage, condition (interior/exterior) repairs, etc.

Holy cow, $2000?
Get some more information! If it's in good shape I will pay more than that.

(Damn these cars! Pardon the language.)

Bwana 04-11-2002 06:27 AM

Lwin, my brother might be interested in it. Make sure you tell me first when he's ready to sell :D

P.S. You finally got him to talk to you?

Seraph 04-11-2002 08:29 AM

I assume the milage is around 130ish. I did not check. The body condition wise, it's great outside. The seats are a little worn from what I have seen but not as bad as my 94 seats. But not as great as my 92. The car is running so I guess tranny is ok as well. I will check with him when he is about to sell it. I might (might) switch the trunk lid with him so that I get the spoiler. :D

He is not selling it yet but soon is the word he used. I am thinking of keeping it myself but we'll see how that goes. Maintaining 2 SVXes can be costly.

This is what happened: I walked in again and talked to the guy again. I saw 2 SVXes parked next to each other so I had to leave the invite notes. One was his and the other was owned by a lady. So in that parking lot, we had 3: his, mine and her's. 2 whites and a black 92's.

I live in chicago, and have a 92 SVX for sale, it has 87xxx on it. The car is white with the black top, no spoiler. The transmission only has about 15K on it and shifts great. The car was garaged kept for all but the last three months, and everything works on it. The car will be going on ebay in about a week, but I am offering in to any true SVX fan for $5000. The price is firm. If you know anybody interested or might me interested yourself, please email me at CLRWTRMS@ameritech.net

I would definitely be interested for $2000. It would also give me a reason to visit a cousin of mine in Chicago. Keep me on your list of interested parties when the car does go up for sale.

Thanks, Keith

Whoa, all these seemingly low prices....I just posted a new thread, describing how I know little about the car, but $2000....I'd be ready to offer more than that too. Have pity on the poor college student please, it'll be my first car! (Like, MINE mine, the rest were just driven by me.)

I guess I'll have to check this thread out too. Thanks....and I'll look into that $5K Chicago guy too.
