OT: SVX for sale

I'm starting a business and reluctantly have to sell my SVX to help finance it.

The car is a 1992 RHD UK car in silver/black with black leather. It has a full Subaru history with Hexagon and Ace and most recently with my local Subaru main dealer, Cheam Motors in Ewell. At its last service, the garage could find no faults with the car. It drives extremely well and is very original.

The car has done only 66k miles - I've done 3k miles since I bought the car around this time last year and I am only the third owner.

A few months back, the gearbox failed (no 3rd and 4th gear) and the gearbox was completely rebuilt by transmission specialists KSM in Carshalton, Surrey. KSM were recommended to me by Cheam Motors and appear to have done an excellent job - which it should be at £1762.50. The work came with a 12 month warranty and the car is also going in for a further gearbox oil/filter change tomorrow.

The battery (3 year guarantee) was replaced in July this year. I MOTd the car last week and it passed first time as it did the previous year. The certificate expires October 3rd 2004.

The interior is in very good condition. The leather still looks good and is very comfortable - it has aged according to the car's 66k miles. All the electrics work including the windows, mirrors, sunroof, heated seats, seat adjust, original tape & CD changer, cruise control and climate control. The aircon works perfectly and blows very cold; it easily handled this summer's hottest weather. The car has remote central locking linked to an alarm/immobiliser, all of which works perfectly.

What lets the car down is its bodywork. The first owner drove it around Kensington, putting small dents and scratches in many of the panels. None is very bad but the car really needs some paintwork to get it perfect.

Parkers price is £5165 for good condition but with the paintwork needed, I'm asking £3950ono. I welcome any inspection.
